Who is she, and what car can she be associated with?

Art and cars. Painters, writers, musicians, actors, movie makers: in a nutshell, artists. Cars of special importance in their work, or in their life
(this is not, here, the car this lady is about to dance upon.
This is a 2 points puzzle, one for the artist, one for the car. Rule is: you identify the artist, you have one week to find the car. After that, the hunt is opened and anyone can rob you of your second point.

Thanks!

Rookies don't like girls dancing on cars.

To be totally honest, it makes me cringe too.

I hate it when Rally Drivers climb on top of their cars after a win, but at least they are not wearing heels...

Ray B.

Me too, but I suppose this girl didn't dance on her OWN car.

I could be wrong, but is she Rita Hayworth and is the car a 1953 Cadillac Ghia?

Ray B.

Not Rita Hayworth. And not as famous, but she's been in a few well-known films.

Actress, not model.

Madonna?
Madonna wasn't born when this picture was taken.

Then how about Yvonne De Carlo and the MunsterMobile?

Ray B.

Yvonne de Carlo is a much better guess (even if wrong). Same period, same kind of actress.

Probably not, but how about Rita Moreno and her 1968 Crown Imperial Convertible from Marlowe?

Ray B.

Neither DeCarlo, neither Moreno.
One month is a bit early for clues, but let's just say that this lady has not a spanish-sounding name. Still she has been cast in some "exotic" roles.

I can't resist noticing that this reply, although wrong, may lead to a correct answer to another puzzle.

You're getting closer. It's not Carolyn Jones (who had a much higher brow), but those two girls have something in common.

EDIT: I can't resist noticing that this reply, although wrong, may lead to a correct answer to another puzzle.

Ray B.

No. The puzzle girl made more films, and some more important ones.

No french roots, and not Allison Hayes (I have trouble finding a well known movie where this dame appears).

EDIt: Trouble??? Sorry, I had forgotten tne unforgetable "Attack of the 50-foot woman"!
