Post by: DHoffmann on August 25, 2008, 09:46:28 AM
Here's a new one, hopefully I can stump everyone for quite some time with this one.

1 point for the correct answer.

Good luck!

Australian Six

The year of production could be anything between 1919 and 1930, although most of them were produced in the early to mid 20's

I think it's a Moon, somewhere between 1919 and 1924, but I can't tell more.

No, not a Moon.

Yikes! 10,000, Ray?  :o

No, not a Moon.
My other thought was a Roamer, but isn't the Roamer a steam car, and what would a crank do on a steam car?

EDIT: I know where I got that idea. No steam car. So: a Roamer?

Good guesses - and you are correct; it's not steam powered - but Moon and Roamer are both American makes. This car did not originate in the US.

I had been looking for cars mimicking the Rolls radiator shell... Don't tell me this is a "common" Rolls-Royce!

Here is another image of the original puzzle car. According to my source, it's from 1924.
It would be great if the typo in the thread title could be corrected...
