No, it's not a home design..

It startet somewhere else and ended as the Mercedes G.
It shouldn't be that hard anymore!

Haflinger 2, I'd suppose.

Yes! It was a sketch for the Haflinger 2 made in-house by Steyr-Puch, but the project later became the Mercedes-Benz G-Klass.
