Correct ID, but I believe the story is a bit different. The site from which I got the photo says this is the body that was used in the commercial. It was purchased by an enthusiast who added the running gear to make it fully operational.

Except for the number plate and a different rear wing, it seems plausible.

Originally this car was a not running mock up, only made for a TV Commercial for the British Norwich Union insurance company.
Later the car was rebuilt on a VW floor pan. Then it was fully functional and was fitted with engine, brakes, lightings etc.

It first wasn't equipped with visible headlight that's why I couldn't identify it.. :-[

No it's not Russian. It's a fake! In the commercial it was presented as the 'new Russian' supercar, but it was built only for that clip!
And yes it's the first (not running) car

A couple of things to keep in mind:

1. Always search the solved puzzles section before posting (this is a re-post).
2. Consider a user name change, as promotion of other sites by way of your screen name may be looked upon unfavorably by the site owner.

Other than that - welcome to AutoPuzzles!
