Can the pros solve this one?

250gto

Hi everyone. Just to let everyone know that I probably won't have access to the internet for the next week or two (from tomorrow) as I'm going on a university field course. So while people are free to carry on guessing at this or any of my other puzzles just be aware that you might have to wait quite a while for replies. As soon as I can I'll answer any messages I do have and post a message to say I'm back in any unsolved puzzles. Thanks.

Ok I'm back with normal internet so I can answer anything promptly again.

I think that's Dave Greenblat's Dailu Mk5. I believe he built a number of Corvette testbed/racing cars, in conjunction with GM.

QuoteGreenblatt built this car for Duval Chevrolet, a GM dealer in Montreal.  It was the same ladder frame design, suspension and brake system as the MK III.  GM supplied a stock 327ci-375hp fuel injected Corvette engine and CR 4 speed transmission. Greenblatt took a mould off a production 1965 Corvette and created a light weight body (approx. 150lbs).  The car looked like a Corvette but weighed only 1800 lbs.
