Not an Ardex, but A BMA as Grobmotorix guessed. Now, what kind of BMA? Locked for you one week.

Oh, this was a blind, intuitive shot into the dark.
And it was a hit...
The pictured car seems to be an early (pre 1950) experimental prototype of the later B.M.A. Hazelcar, built by Eric Hazeldine:

But, although a Pro and one of the originals autopuzzlers, you forgot the no-linking rule. I deleted yours.
