This is a Miller-Crosley owned and probably driven by John Bukovski at Del Mar

To be moved to the 'Solved' section?

Otto Puzzell

Yes, I should probably flag this one solved. But since nobody had invoked the eye-rolling smiley yet, I was not sure if it was time just yet.  ;)

Yes, patience is a gift.

Came across this photo recently. I didn't know what it was. Thought maybe you guys don't either. And no, it is NOT lowdrag in a child's version of a Jaguar D-Type!   :lmao:

Found this photo looking for something else. Any of y'all know what it is? And no, it is NOT a picture of lowdrag as a boy in his D Type trainer!   :lmao:

H Mod guys... Here's a Crosley powered Special at Del Mar.

Who's driving?  Is the hood about to fly off?

2-3-06   Tom Churchill adds:

"In your first H-mod page the car #290 is a Miller-Crosley owned and usually driven by John Bukowski. This was the twelfth car built by Don Miller according to the list printed in the Small Times."

How come this is here, and here: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=9392.0

Because MG didn't do a search and frankly I don't give a damn.  Just glad to get him posting here again.

Yikes. I am terribly embarrassed. Such incompetence. Can you say "early Alzheimer's", boys and girls?  I DID try to put this up earlier but when I went back to find it, I couldn't. Thought I hit "preview" instead fo "post" again. I do that a lot, as the order of the buttons is reversed from what I am used to at CarNuts. I think Otto probably did that on purpose!   :lmao:

Anyway, all's well that end's well, I suppose. 2 points to anyone who can identify the origin of that line!    ???

What line? This one?

all's well that end's well

Well, except Shakespeare, it appears often in the last page of the "Tintin" albums, if I remember well.

Shakespeare did not include the second (incorrect) apostrophe ;D
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

MG

Yikes! I have been busted by the apostrophe police!   :o

Yes, the second apostrophe was a typo.

The entire line I sought to tease your collective brains with is, in its entirety:

"All's well that ends well.....I suppose".

Guesses?
