What's the make and model of this car?
Experts?
Going to the top
Don´t tell me it´s a Fiat Panda-based threewheeler van with the one wheel in the rear section - what a crazy layout! :o
Though it is cropped blue mountains are in the background..
So? Himalaya - India?
Some good sleuthing here.
Yes it's Fiat based (but not Panda) :)
Yes it's got three wheels :)
The mountains are not the Himalayas - so not Indian
based on Fiat Uno? South America?

After a bit of further research, it seems the Fiat element is quite slender in this car
South America? No, wrong continent
Asia?
North America? Currently available?

North America? Currently available?
Not from America, no.
I'm not sure if this is still available or not - I suspect the latter

Yes it's got three wheels :)
EDIT: There are actually two very close-set wheels at the back - so it's a four-wheeler!
Is it Australian?
Not from Australia, no
South America? Brazil?
African, maybe Nigerian?
Not South American, not African
European? ???
Either that, or it's the Antarctida Express :P
Could still be from New Zealand, as Australia in many parts of the world is considered to be just the name of the country and not the name of the entire continent...
I don't even have any idea about the country.. Russian maybe?
Not Russian
Western Europe?
I'll guess Greece, because they would love dearly to have a domestic auto industry. Over the decades, they have made some low budget machines there.

I agree it kind of looks Greek, but it isn't
Portugal maybe?

Portugal maybe?
One by one the lights of Europe are going out
As a
bump
here's a rear shot
Italian?
Is it an electric taxi? Maybe from Sicily?
Could it be some polish Tarpan ?
It should be italian, see reply #33.
Italian
Not Fiat
Maybe electric
Sadelmi?
It is Italian
It is a taxi
It's not electric
8)
To summarise:
* Italian
* Some Fiat parts
* Four wheels (close-set rear pair)
* Taxi
* Not electric
What is it?
There was also a pick-up version and a second model:
This is the Microtaxi from Lacco Ameno, Ischia!
That's exactly what I've found out as well, but nothing about the builder.. :-[
Oh!
We picked the same pic! ;D
Piaggio Porter Isola d'Ischia?

Piaggio Porter Isola d'Ischia?
maybe you get Franco on the phone? http://www.ininterland.it/hinterland/comuni/ischia/ischia7.htm
I thought that, but I said to myself: "I have to be mad, to call someone to find a car's name..."
but since we are in two (you had the same idea at least) ans since here it's 7:00PM, I'll try...stay tuned...
They rent cars and not Microtaxies... :-\ . About the other numbers of Lacco Ameno, one is not active and the other office is already closed.

I don't know of Comai but that name doesn't appear in the literature I have...
It's a Fives Sciarà, made near Naples and powered by a Fiat Cinquecento ED drivetrain.
Thanks to the friend who indicated me this post which I missed... ;)
Now, solving this, it makes easier another one...
That's the one! Two points are in order for this, as it took so long to solve.
(PS I couldn't reply to 'your' rookie topic directly but PM'd you as soon as I saw it)
