Quiller

in your expert opinion...

NSU Ro80 Gmarmeier shown on Salon de Geneve 1975.

Any front pics in stock?

Quiller

No pics other than this one I'm afraid. Anyone else?

Arunas

That a really interesting example! It seems that only this one picture could be found while searching the internet.. Anyone has any details about that particular model?

Allemano

No! Even the book I have only provides this angle... :(

But this car is a prototype, right? Any ideas what "Gmarmeier" could mean?

Anton

Sounds like a German last name, presumably rather from the south. ;D

I think you deserve a point...

Allemano

No problem — if you provide a front view of this car!  ;)

Paul Jaray

Whait a moment! That's not the same name I have...and mine is sure...
who will find the right name?

Allemano

You must be kidding!!!!

Sort of....it's obviusly the same car, but in my picture the name is written on the wall (that's why I'm sure). It is based on the NSU but it's been mispelled in the previous quiz. You had the chance to find out the correct name.

Exclusively me?  :D

Then it also has to be mispelled in the book I have. And in all the sources I know, too

My second guess would be "Gmahrmeier" for some reason

Paul Jaray

You already had the point because you found the car. In my picture, taken from his stand in a show, the name is written on the wall, that's why I'm pretty sure that's the correct one, and no, it's not that. It's open to all.

I strongly believe it starts with an "G" (logo of the back wheels) Secondly I believe it ends with "....meier"
(A little) strange is the "Gmar" so I (not really!) guess there's a vowel between the first and the second character.
So my last guess would be Gemahrmeier.

Allemano

Wait! What about Grahmeier?

It's driving me nuts! Gmarmeyer? (would be a new dimension of nit-picking in my opinion..)
