I found a picture of a car, a different one, that is parked in the same place, near the same garages, and has got the same writing on his side. Is your car in any way related to the Linck Stealth X-1, made in Fullerton, California?

Wow, that's some pretty good sleuthing! The answer is yes, so I'm going to reserve a point for you - especially since it's been here for so long - but I'll keep the puzzle open for an extra point if anyone can supply anything further on this car...

So this is a car by Linck Motors, but not a Stealth? (BTW the car in my picture seems the final stage of this car, with a sort of different hardtop, no-spats and slightly different nose.)

Yes - this is a Linck car but not a Stealth

I found some interesting  things about its creator, He wrote two books, were he told about his studies and he refers to a Berlinetta, I'm not sure that's the name you are after. So is it Dream Machine?

Yes I have that book! Dream Machine is the title of the book, not the car though. I'm feeling like maybe I should share the Linck info I have...

I sent some emails to Mr Linck and He was so kind to answer me. He also sent me 4 pictures of his 4 projects. He wrote that He is not sure about having them put on the web, so I won't post them, not even via PM. The 1st is a mid-engined sport car from 1969!! I read the date more than a time because that cars seems of 10-15 years in advance of its time. The 2nd is a '74 commuter car, once again a very smooth-designed car that seems really out of his time. The 3rd picture is the car in this puzzle, taken from the front, and Mr Linck refers to it as a mid-engined sports car from 1984. The 4th one is the car also featured in Harold Pace's "Big guide to kit and speciality cars", but from his picture this car is really a beauty. He told me that this kit car photo was published in the Kit Car Magazine as Stealth X-1. I ask him for some more info about his works, because they are really something more than just another attempt to make a new kit car. He wrote me that the story reported in one of my book is far from the truth, and I really hope He will provide more info about these cars.
Was this picture taken from his book? Are there also the other cars?

You have done your research! Two points for you! Yes this is Linck's 'Car Number Three' that predated the Stealth X-1. I do hope Mr Linck doesn't mind it appearing on this site because I agree, it is an interesting, attractive and well-designed car that deserves a wider audience.

He just wrote me today about his latest project, a car I think everybody here at AP have seen at least once, because it is featured in a very well known kit-car and speciality cars site. It is an Aztec modified to compete in the Xprize challenge. I'll post this picture He sent me because he also sent it to that site. Quiller, may I ask you how did you get his first book? I know that is self published and it is available on-line, but how did you get that in the first place? He wrote that there are about 50 pictures of his works in that book, cars and objects, so you know what I'm talking about. His first car seems a (better version of a) Mosler Raptor, but it was designed 30 years before!
