As I wrote of something completely different, it seems to have echoes of Rowland Emmett's "The Featherstone-Kite Openwork Basketweave Mark II Gentleman's Flying Machine"

He was the man who designed Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (film version) wasn't he? This car predates him!

Correct! The Electriquette was made in Los Angeles (1914-1915) and about 200 were built
