Nothing to do with the Scimitar...

Quiller

Think you know this?

It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

I know it's a VERY long shot, but looking at the parts on the wall I have to think of Abarth or Nardi...

Just kidding, was it built by any supplier?

Quiller

Without giving too much away, it was created by a designer for a manufacturer that's not Abarth, Nardi or Vauxhall

Arunas

For Italian manufacturer? Damn... looks do famliar...

Allemano

From the UK?
(my next question would be 'Japan', but I'm following strictly the erbas rule  ;D)

Quiller

Yes it's British

Arghhhh!  This one is driving me crazy, because I know it, but I just can't place it.  I think this photo was taken at the Racing Car Show in London, probably in 1969, and I think the car may have something to do with either a Mini Jem, and/or Neville Trickett.  Anywhere close?

Some of what you say has the Ring of Veracity

By Jove, I think I've got it.  This is the one and only Janspeed Coupe, designed by Neville Tricket and shown at the 1969 Racing Car Show in London. It was orange, and based on Hillman Imp running gear. I think that's all I can say on the matter!

You have a point!  :) This was indeed Neville Trickett's GT car based on Imp mechanicals of 1969. It was designed for Marcos but they rejected the idea. This car can be regarded as the precursor of the Siva S160

I'll ask Mr. Trickett, maybe he has some or knows about someone who does.
