What's the make and model of this car?

piglos

Quiller

It certainly does look 'Jolly' but I'm looking for the name of the coachbuilder that made this car...

Can the jolly pros solve this?

Allemano

Wild guess: Carrozzeria Baldy from San Remo?

Quiller

Not a Baldy (although I'll admit it does lack a certain amount of covering on top)

Allemano

Is it at least from any carrozzeria? (even if it 's made by one of the rather unknown?)

Yes it's from a known carrozzeria, but not that well known

Allemano

JR

I think it could be the work of Masiri & Mondini.

Quiller

Yes indeed, well done. Anyone know of any other cars made by this obscure carrozzeria?

Allemano

Never heard of it before!   :-\
It's a scan like the Bespoke Buggy I guess?  ???

Paul Jaray

I've just been told that the correct name for this, is Mastri & Mondini.

Quiller

Thanks for the info - any more details? I've never heard of anything else they did....

I received some suggestions for my 'Italian Coachbuilders' topic by our new friend Als15, one of which was to correct the spelling of this Coachbuilder, that was mispelled in his book and reported wrong thereafter.

Quiller

I think that misspelling originally comes from the Daily Express Car Guide, circa 1972
