With the permission of Otto, I am having a shot at this myself!
Thirteen performers, thirteen cars. They're connected two by two by a car song.
You know the rule: one point for the connections (please give us the title of the song). No point for the name of just the performer or the car.
Now, the performers:

Hurry up before someone gets it. You have an hour.
Tuner #11: Bob Dylan with "From a Buick 6" and car# 4: Buick Six? and Car#10 Buick
Right. You have the point (added when all wiil be found) but could you tell why this particular car fits the song's title?
car song => title or lyrics as well?

This particular car is a 1963 Buick Special Deluxe Sedan.
According to Wikipedia: "In 1962, the Special was the first American car to use a V6 engine"
Right. Starting 1931, Buick was only powered by eights. So a Buick 6 can only be a Special.

Quite often, as in Otto's Cars and Tunes, the connection is to be found in the lyrics and not in the tile.
Tuner #2 is Johnny Cash. Should match to Car#9 a Psycho Billy Cadillac from the tune "One Piece at a Time"
Fine. I know, I've left some easy ones, if one knows his music.
Car No 13 is a 1948 Cadillac Series 61 fastback coupe and Tuner No8 are The Andrews Sisters who apparently sang about a Cadillac in the Spring, 1947 song: The Lady From 29 Palms
Car No 2 is a Curved Dash Oldsmobile. And then there was the song: My merry Oldsmobile in 1905 so I think the match is No6, who I believe is Gus Edwards.
Tuner No5 is Robert Johnson who sang Terraplane Blues, which matches Car No3 a 1935 Terraplane DeLuxe Six convertible coupe
Tuner No10 shows The Playmates, who had a song, "Beep beep" mentioning a Nash Rambler, a reference to Car No1, a Nash Rambler Convertible Landau, 1951.
Tuner No13 and Car4: Sonny Boy Williamson who in "Brother James" mentioned a 1929 Ford, which happens to be Car4: 1929 Ford Model A Coupe.
VERY Cool.
I think the Johnny Cash one was the easiest one of all ... ;).

"The tables finally turned" ... Randy Travis / Carrie Underwood ... 'I Told You So'
@pnegyesi: Your third and fourth pairings are correct (the Rambler is a 1953, but it's not obvious). The rest is false.
Tuner 5 and Car 3, Robert Johnson's Terraplane.
I'll guess #8 / Andrew Sisters and car #12 / Six Jerks in a Jeep

Marmon beat them by 57 years
I'll go with #3, K.C. Douglas, and #7, Mercury Blues
#13, Sonny Boy Williamson II, and #11, Pontiac Blues

Tuner 5 and Car 3, Robert Johnson's Terraplane.
Sure, but that was already found by pnegyesi
Otto: 3 shots, 3 bull's eyes. For car #12, I couldn't find a picture with six, so they're only four.
Tuners #1 are Billy Jones & Ernest Hare matching car #8 a Ford T.
The song is "Henry's Made a Lady Out of Lizzie"
Actually the lyrics are about car#4 the Ford Model A which was presented in 1928.
" In 1927, after selling over 15 million Ford Model T cars,
the Henry Ford Motor Company replaced the Model T with the Model A.
This song was written in praise of the new Model A."
:applause:
Correct! And you weren't fooled long by the trap. The point is yours, but can tell us, as a bonus, under what name Jones and Hare performed?
The fabulous "Happiness Boys"..
car#8 the Ford T is subject of the tune "The Little Ford Rambled Right Along" (1915) which was performed by tuner #6 Billy Murray
Right again. And you didn't fall in another of my traps

Now I've got it... found out that Billy Murray performed "My Merry Oldsmobile" as well...
So far we have...
Tuner #1 The Happiness Boys and Car #4 1928 Ford Model A (Allemano)
Tuner #2 Johnny Cash and Car #9 Psychobilly Cadillac (Allemano)
Tuner #3 K.C. Douglas and Car #7 1949 Mercury (Otto Puzzell)
Tuner #4 Collins & Harlan and Car # 2 Curved Dash Oldsmobile Allemano
Tuner #5 Robert Johnson and Car #3 1935 Terraplane pnegyesi)
Tuner #6 Billy Murray and Car #8 1915 Ford T (Allemano)
Tuner #7 The Treniers and Car #6 1941 Cadillac Convertible Allemano
Tuner #8 The Andrew Sisters and Car #12 Willys Jeep MB (Otto Puzzell)
Tuner #9 Chuck Berry and Car # 13 1953 Cadillac Coupe De Ville pnegyesi
Tuner #10 The Playmates and Car #1 1953 Rambler (pnegyesi)
Tuner #11 Bob Dylan and Car #10 1963 Buick Special (75america)
Tuner #12 Reverend Horton Heat and Car #5 1973 Ford Galaxie 500 (Ultra)
Tuner #13 Sonny Boy Williamson and Car #11 1941 Pontiac (Otto Puzzell)
Car No 13 which is a Cadillac Series 62 and Tuner No 9: Chuck Berry. Song is: Dear Dad: "Try to find a Cadillac,
A Sixty-two or three."
You're not too lucky with Cadillacs...Your first ID as a 1948 model, (and a fastback!) kept me wondering. Here you have a better ID, but still the wrong song.
But you did recognize Chuck Berry, and it wasn't obvious on this picture. So I lock this for you 48 hours.
It can't be Dear Dad, which is a 1965 song, because when he refers to a 62 or 63 he can only mean the year. The Series 63 ended in 1942 with a very low production number, all sedans, and I doubt that a 1965 boy would ask his father for a 23 years old sedan.
What we have here is a Coupe.
Tuner 12 Rev. Horton Heat - Five Oh Ford of #5.
Right pairing, but wrong song. If you check the lyrics you should find the right song easily. I'm quite precise about the models when the song is too.
Locked for you 48 hours.

Right. I even think he was the first. But he's not paired with that song here.

Galaxy 500
That's it (usually incorrectly quoted with a Y). The song even says that it's a '73.
Five -Oh Ford is a different Horton Heat tune. I thought of that tune first because there were Fords like the one you posted in Hawaii Five O.
Are tuners #7 Soul musicians from the sixties?
Nope. Neither soul neither the sixties.
Rock 'n' Roll?
Rock 'n' Roll or Rythm 'n' Blues is more correct. But this song predates rock.
Was this band famous for one lone hit?
...and: was there another band with the same name later doing completely different kind of music?
Quote from: Allemano on November 24, 2009, 01:14:18 PM
Was this band famous for one lone hit?
I don't think so. Or a hit that wasn't famous enough for me to know it.
About your second question. I really don't think so too.
About my last answer: although related to rock and roll, their music wasn't really rock and roll.
So, they are not The Chords?.
I guessed because tuners#7 obviousely are six band members and two of them are appearantly brothers if not identical twins..
They're not the Chords... but there something else that fits them in your answer.
Well, I have another try: would band/tuners #7 "The Treniers" match car #6 a Cadillac Convertible from 1941?
Tuners #4 are comedian Arthur Collins and tenor Byron G. Harlan who match car#2 the 1903 Curved Dashed Olds.
They had a hit with 'In My Merry Oldsmobile' as well
Yes to both your guesses. But for the first you need to find the song if youn want to score.
Locked for you 24 hours.
I'll be away until friday afternoon, by the way.
So the remaining pair should be Chuck Berry (No9) and car nO13, a Cadillac Series 61 Coupe De Ville from 1949
In the song, Maybelline he sang: "I saw Maybelline in a Coupe de Ville/Cadillac rollin' down the open road"

They made a song titled "Cadillac Convertible", that's why I didn't mention it explicitly again.. It's the 11th track on their "Hey Sister Lucy" Album

All right. Now you have the right tuner, the right song ...but still not quite the right car.
Close enough. Given you great knowledge of other cars, this won't be held against you and you have the point.
The car is a 1953 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe De Ville, as in Maybellene. 1953 by the bumper guards, about the biggest "dagmars" even to adorn a Cadillac. Series 62 because there was no series 61 in 1953, and because, anyway, from 1949 on, the Coupe De Ville was only available in the series 62.
Allemano: you're right of course. You're so good at that game, I wonder why you don't try your luck at Otto's "Yep, another Car Tunes Puzzle"? ;D
Well, that does it! I'll tally the points tomorrow.
Thanks, you are very kind. 1950s American cars are not my thing, but I love solving puzzles :)
