Do you know this? ;)
Well, it's a '69 Mustang but I'm guessing that's not all there is to it. ???
JWK
Obviousely not! No half points to score, sorry! ;D
Up!
Is it one of those cars that were sent to Vietnam?
I don't know this part of the story, but that's not the thing I'm looking for!
Not a Ford Mustang Boss 492, is it?
No, this is a very special one! (indeed built in 1969 by the way!)
Pros should know it!
Mustang E?
I'm afraid that's not the name I'm waiting for.
This should put it in the right way:
Mustang LE600?
Neither. It's more about an inner secret....
A different engine maybe?
Tip 1: Look carefully at the second picture: what is at least a bit irritating?
Tip 2: It's not about the engine
Does it have four-wheel drive?

Sorry, posted the wrong picture with veiled plate. :-\
Mustang Ferguson Formula?
Yes! One of only four!
Were they planning to pput it into production or was it just a development vehicle for the technology?
I have a source which I would send you via PM, but do you speak/understand German?

Yes, no problem :)
Could you share the info with the community? :D
Another rare photo of a Ferguson converted fastback Mustang:
Please forgive a tired old man's failing memory & question. I know I knew (frustrating as hell) what the trailing wheel was for, but can't recall it. Was it a calibrated speedometer? Slip angle detection? Wheelspin detection? None of the above?
Thanks,
The fifth wheel, in Germany called Peiselerrad after its manufacturer, is a calibrated instrument for length measurement.

therefore gave accurate speed data during acceleration testing.
They probably use GPS-derived data nowadays.
