1958 V.A.Y. from Canada

Yep - the 1959 V.A.Y. Special

This 1958 V.A.Y. racing special was campaigned in something called the Canadian Class where it won in 1958/59 with 24 wins. It originally had a 918cc Morris Minor flathead engine, and currently runs a 948cc engine. The car is based on some British mechanicals, but actually was campaigned in Formula Junior as well. The period photo below shows the car in very similar form, without the modern roll-bar.
