In best tradition and missed for a long time, here it is: the new geographical group puzzle.
Match the right location to the right car or vice versa. They're related by name.
Score 2 points for each pair – score none for incomplete answers!
Some may be a little tricky some are rather easy.
Points will be added afterwards.

sorry, that's precious little. :sigh:
It's partly correct, but I need a more precise and detailed info (for all of the pairings!)
aside from that the first pairing is wrong
oh dear, it really is - that's a terrible mistake made by me, it was middle of the night and i was tired so i had a right to talk such nonsensities ;D
as to the volga - the picture shows the volga assembled in belgium by sombipex, who offered it also with diesel engines. they also made an (unsuccessful) attempt to redesign the car, penned and built by vignale. picture of the river shows volga at city of tver with the bridge donated by st. petersburg

ah of course it was GHIA ;)
Yes! :)
The Volga river picture, as kocie_ruchy said, shows Tver' city, not St.-Petersberg. Volga doesn't run through our 'Northern capital'. Althouhg according Russian wiki this is neither the bridge built upon parts os St.-Petersberg one. This one should exist from year 1900.
Sorry, I've fixed that. I just copied without reading!
Not much rookie activities on this.
Let's see if experts diggin' out a little more.

The correct pairing is indeed No1 and Loc8! :)
No4: Ramses Egyptienne and maybe Lo7 is Egypt?
It's indeed a Ramses (though I have a different designation!), but the location is wrong.
Loc7 is not Egypt.
Then maybe Loc9 is Egypt?
I think it is the Karnak Temple Complex
Edfu Temple?
So is it the temple of Luxor?

Close but no cigar. You have to google a bit more, only a few pages ;)
It's indeed a Ramses temple, but not the one you've mentioned

car #12 and loc #3 : Bayer car and Bayer site in Dormagen?

I know the name of Location 10, ...
It's a bit tricky...you have to look way back in time to find the answer...
I find 3 names for the same area, the following is Leverkusen.
(and finally Krefeld-Uerdingen)
Thanks for the clue, Allemano! Location 10 is Barcelona (I guess seen from Tibidabo) which was called Barcino in the third century before JC. Car 3 is a Siata Barcino (prototipo).

You're correct of course
Yes, I have to go to bed, too...
I found that the Barcino had 1700 in its name, and it is said to be based on the Seat 1400 C.

I had that car for a long time simply as Barcino prototipo on my HD, but recently stumbled on its appearently correct designation.
Siata 1700 Coupé Barcino.
No12 Bayer Car and Loc4 Bayer Werke in Leverkusen (Paul Jaray 2pts) the local number is wrong...loc4 is Bristol... ;)
Thanks, it's repaired now!

What took you so long? ;)
Not my daily business, but for a benefit for those who are merely interested in really old cars I added No5, but not much happened so far..
No5 is German, right?
Well, the teaser worked!
You're right, No5 is German!
No8 and Loc7: the car is called Serengeti and was made by Haag Plastic in Stuttgart-Gerlingen in 1972.
On this you probably know more than me. :o
PM sent!
As long as it is not completely uncovered I name it VW 'Serengeti', but pnegyesi gets definetely two points!
I believed this car would almost unsovable as it is hardly available on the internet (was about to replace it),
but pnegyesi proved me wrong. :)
It was just sheer luck that today I browsed through a lot of old Automobil Revue magazines. In issue Nr 24/1972 there was: Serengeti aus der BRD (Serengeti from West Germany).
It's been a rather long today, so forgive me, but I only provide the article as it is: "Under der Bezeichnung Serengeti wird seit einiger Zeit von der Firma Haag PLastic in Stuttgart-Gerlingen ein Buggy eigenwilliger Prägung hergestellt.
I get more infos in a few days
My bet is on No14 and Loc14. I don't want to give the game away, but I think No14 is an Anadol prototype as Loc14 is clearly Turkey, the Mediterrenean Sea (Anatolia).
The pairing is correct, but you've got the wrong car.
But it´s Turkey?
