Which car is this?
My eyes! My eyes! Oh, the humanities!
Captain Nemo's second best car, not used in the movie.
pegaso / willys-kaiser / BAT
Really remember Captain Nemo´s and a cross between a Pegaso, a Bertone BAT and a kaiser :)
From Brazil, yes?
I'm sure it's not a Carro Especial du Qaraquara from 1965....
;D
No. Avenida Jabaquara is the address of the company that made this car in the 50´s.
I´ve filed this as the "Cisne Prateado" or "Silver plated swan" from Brazil and I´ve tried to find out any facts about it for a long time, but I do not have any more information. I think this was shown in an old german "Hobby" magazine.
Indeed! It´s the Cisne Prateado! I have only these pictures and a litle description in a Auto Motor und Sport from 1958, telling that it has a 145 hp truck engine.
Thanks...... ;)
I´d really love to get any more information about this unique creation...

Unfortunately, I don´t have more information :(
I found some additional info on this car,the source calls it another name as Cysne Silver it was built by fancy cars between 1956-57 sao Paulo.the engine was mounted on a us ford chassis with 145 horsepower, the steel body was handmade by Spaniard Miguel borrell(who had previously worked on pegaso.some eccentric pieces were added like wings stability(fish-tails on the back) the grill gold plated and painted 54 shades of garnet. Among the inventive ideas, door windows that ran up,getting collected in the roof. the car only had two seats and no trunk. I hop this helps.
Oh wow.
Thank you very much for this new information!
