OK, let''s try it this way: it's a Dessoude prototype, based on a Nissan Navara truck.  And as of a few days ago it's no longer running in the 2009 Dakar.

True. But this Dessoude prototype has a name, albeit a rather generic one. I'd like you to give me this name.

Per the Dakar entry list it's "Proto Dessoude".  Per the Team Dessoude site it's Pickup No 5, though in the accompanying photo the sponsorshi livery is slightly different so it's not clear it's the same vehicle.

As far as i know it's trhe Pickup No.5, only modified for the Dakar rallye. The point is yours.
