The aluminium-bodied prototype was designed by Norman Timbs and built by Emil Diedt, Lujie Lesovsky and Phil Remington.
The final production version used a stylish Ghia-like fiberglass body designed by Edwards.

I noticed this looked a lot like another Edwards I've seen a pic of. I wouldn't have known the model name though.

Does anyone know what year this was made?

That very picture was on my work PC desktop for quite a while, so that was an easy one for me.
