OK then.
Time for the Experts to tell us what this car is!
1953 Dyna Panhard X86 Berlinetta with Allemano body.
Of course it is!
Much too easy for the Experts!
Does the Allemano body date to '53, as well? Very nice looking car.
Oops! Just spied another photo from the side. The front aspect is the best view of the car. ;)
I think it's a beautiful car... but I might have some positive prejudices ;D

One of my sources mentions the year 1954, but on the internet I found it as a 1953 model.
The red 'Panhard' writing on the hubcaps was only used until 1953. Since 1954 the hubcaps were plain. But with coachbuilt cars you never know...

It's not bad, just a little short overall. After seeing the front, I was prepared for something with Ferrari or Maserati (or Studebaker) proportions.
Is this your car?
Is the photo posted by DynaMike exactly the same car?
The grille seems to be slightly different in that it has no mesh, the front bumper isn't there plus there is less chromework in between the bonnet scoop and the grille.
Maybe they made more than one? Suppose the rest of the car is pretty much the same as the blue one.
Does anyone know?
I think it is the same or at least very similar. But the black & white picture is on old pic, and the bleu car (from Italian Panhard club site) shows the car in its actual state. Alas, no, it isn't our car, we've just got a late 1957 Dyna Z 12 Grand Standing sedan... But the 2-cylinder engine is almost the same ;D
As always I got problems in uploading images (the pictures of our last holidays in France are obviously oversized...) so I'll try with ImageShack:

No pic arrived...
@DynaMike: PM sent.
This week I managed to resize the pic ;D
