It was destroyed at the order of state officials, as was the practice with tenths of other prototypes in Poland and other Soviet bloc countries. This fate awaited any prototype that was deemed too "capitalist" for a "people's democracy" society. Considering that the Polish First Secretary of that time was of an opinion that a moped is more then enough luxury for a worker (meaning "blue-collar worker", because white-collars were considered to be unproductive and useless members of society), you can imagine why the Syrena Sport hadn't meet with much approval from the officials.
