It is not from 1952, but from 1956. It was done by the VEB Flugzeugwerke Dresden.

This coupe is in fact a rebodied racecar. It was built on the base of one of the two IFA F9 racecars driven by Richter and Hofmokel: http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=22020

What was the company name for it?
Flugzeugwerke Dresden, Dresden or is there an acronym for it?

Melenk names VEB Flugzeugwerke Dresden as the builder. My other source is not sure about the builder, but assumes that it was done under the guidance of WTZ (Wissenschaftlich-Technisches Zentrum) Automobilbau, the engineering headquarter of IFA.
