Hurrah!
Is it a French record car?
Not french, not a record car but a car it is!
Oh! Some progress then.
It doesn't look like the thing one would offer for everyday use, even in those times, so if it is not a record runner then maybe it's a racing car built primarily for oval tracks?
This car was not developed for races...
Now I can see why you put it directly to the Pro section... ???
It not very obscure, once you know the car, there are a lot of sources on the web...
This car is really everywere on the web, once you realize that.....
Darracq?
Not a Darraq...
British??
:shakehead:
Italiano?
This one is on the web, in a lot of different places, once you realize........
American?
Somehow it looks like it's got front wheel drive and rear wheel steering...
That is not the interesting part...(and it is not rerported in any source :-\)
Maybe the car is often published on the web because of its owner (who might be the man standing next to it) ?
The car was invented by that man, and despite the appareance, is quite unusual, for the 20s.
1926 Compressed Air Vehicle by Lee Barton Williams of Pittsburg USA
That's the car!
