Anyone knows anything on this one? You can get one point by identifying make and model, another point if you tell me which museum it resides currently and two points awaits anyone who can tell me anything about its builder.

Paul Jaray

From USA, like Mercer?

pnegyesi

Yes, the car is American or so the museum says.

Arunas

America La France by any chance?

pnegyesi

Much, much more obscure

Arunas

Did this ended before 1925?

pnegyesi

Arunas

Was this car the only model built by this company?

pnegyesi

I believe this is a one-off but I have to admit I only know a name, a model year and its engine size. So it is not a De Tamble.

pnegyesi

Not, but it is in Europe.

pnegyesi

A clue: the museum where this car resides is in Belgium

Mahymobiles Automuseum Oldtimer (Bossaert) in Reninge?

pnegyesi

Yes, that's one point for you. Now, what is this car? One point for make and model (model year and engine size) and a further two points if you know anything else on its background.

75america

Euh...I can give you a front view of the car...

pnegyesi

Okay, locked for you for 24 hours. I am sure you will find its name

75america

Just a guess, but might this be the Fawcett Flyer?

pnegyesi

Yes, this is the Fawcett Flyer Runabout, powered by a 15.5-liter in-line six  and made in 1918. I move this to the solved section, but if anyone got more on this I'd be happy to award more points. I couldn't find it in my books.

humm...
In the Standard Catalog (and in the Beaulieu) there is the Fawick Flyer, 1908-1912 and a picture of the 'Silent Sioux' model of 1909 that has the same radiator as this one.
In the Beaulieu there is a Fawcett Fowler, but it is a steamer british car, 1907-1909.
There are also a couple of Flyer (1933-1934 and 1913-1914).

According to the logo on the radiator, will both catalogs be proven wrong? The war is declared, and I will be a strong supporter of Belgium.

The cars on the catalogs are real but different ones.
This car is from 1918, but it seems from 5-6 years earlier at least.
There is another car, an American LaFrance speedster dated 1918 that shares the same lines.
