General Motors-Holdens (now GM Holden ) VL Calais, '86, ( to '88) with the EFI RB3.0E sourced from Nissan (Skyline) for ULP compliance (later with Garrett Turbo or 5.0 V8 - slower) probably shot at the Lang Lang Proving Grounds, South Gippsland.
p.s. that year also had suzuki (barina) nissan (astra) isuzu (piazza) and gm's world car (camira) as passenger 'holdens', so with the opel based commodore / calais dropping the old australian six cylinder, that left the ute and one tonner for substantially local designs from gm-h.
I'm going to need a bit more detail than that, I'm afraid...
;D
Just kidding. I have no idea about the Lang Lang Proving Grounds, either. But it is an '86 VL Calais!
