Post by: Ray B. on December 07, 2008, 10:30:24 AM
Ever seen this ?
I know very little about it myself, especially not the make.

Please, respond below and let us know the make of the car posted here. Please give any element of proof you have with your answer.
If you haven't registered yet, you need to do so in order to reply with your answer.
Also, please be sure to check out our other puzzles, and, please post a puzzle of your own if you'd like - the more, the merrier.
This is a 2 point puzzle.

This is the 1946-1951 in Ingatestone, Essex/GB built Larmar.
It was powered by an 1-cyl. engine with 249cc and 8 bhp. Later there also was a 350 cc version with 10 BHP available.

Quite different from the picture showing some elegant lady it mainly was built for war-disabled or other invalid persons.

Thanks a lot, Allemano.
To speak the truth, I am not too happy that you would kill a sweet puzzle like this for no more than two hours, but I am amazed.
This poor puzzle didn't even come from the internet: I thought he had weeks, even months, ahead of him. Resisting all efforts to crack it, giving you all bad dreams. Then WHAM! I am puzzled!

Two well-deserved points.

Don't fret!  :) It's very easy if you have the right literature!

:taz: Now I see that I also know this car (but I have just some small coloured pictures of it - that's why I couldn't figure it out  :(

However, both pictures from Ray B. and Allemano are very interesting!

Another nice picture of that car, with another watchful lady driver.
