Who is he, and what car can he be associated with?

Art and cars. Painters, writers, musicians, actors, movie makers: in a nutshell, artists. Cars of special importance in their work, or in their life.
This one is worth 2 points, one for the artist, one for the car.
Rules of this puzzle is: you identify the artist, you have one week to find the car. After that, the hunt is opened and anyone can rob you of your second point.

If you haven't registered yet, you need to do so in order to reply with your answer.
Also, please be sure to check out our other puzzles, and, please post a puzzle of your own if you'd like - the more, the merrier.

Thanks!

It's not denial, I'm just very selective about the reality I accept.

Is it Willy Deville?
He wrote a song called 'Lilly's daddy's Cadillac'.
It's as much fun to scare as to be scared

Now, an Autopuzzler who recognizes Willy DeVille, even in a picture where her doesn't look much like himself, is something to please me (I am a big fan of Willy).

The cars he can be associated with is of course any Cadillac. Not only by this song but also by Moon Martin's "Cadillac Walk", of which he made a fantastic cover.
We love old Willy even in his craziest attires (well, I do).

Damn, missed that puzzle!
I'm such a big fan of Willy Deville and his former band Mink de Ville. Saw him twice on stage.
First was his 1981 legendary Rockpalast concert with Mink de Ville in my hometown Essen http://www.rockpalastarchiv.de/rn9.html. Back then he looked so slick, with his violett jacket and his oily hairs. Like on this poster:

Second time was on his "Demasiado Corazon" tour in 1998 with more Carribean, Creole and Latin influence. Great performance!

His current look is is not my cup of tea...
