Oh yes (with two Rs, though, and rather 1947).

I realize that this car isn't very well-known, to the point that Darrin's name is misspelled in the Crosley Club site. Howard Darrin designed it at the request of Powel Crosley, and he followed the ideas he had developed in the car he did for the Lehman Brothers (see http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=8075.0 )
