Yes, it was built by an american motor car company.

Assuming this is as old as it looks, was the make still around in 1915?

My sources say that the manufacturer was active for only two years before the year 1910...

Not sure how to narrow this down further. Let's try this: Manufactured east of the Mississippi?

:D  That was the best question you could ask!

It was built directly at the Mississippi...

LOCKED for you!

Yes, it was indeed built in St.Louis, as my sources say.

I wouldn't lock it just yet... that doesn't narrow it down all that far.

First guess: Everybody's? I can't find any other car company of the era from St. Louis that used the "Motor Car Mfg. Company" nomenclature, much less one that lasted two years. The only problem is that that make was built at the wrong city called St. Louis (Illinois rather than Missouri).

Here we are. It is a 1907 "Everybodys" by Everybodys Motor Car Company.

And - shame on me - I think you are right with the two St.Louises...

So here´s your point.

Wow, I didn't really think I was going to get this one so fast.

Can you post the pic with the obscured detail(s) included? Thanks.
