This looks like the VAZ Lada 1101 'Cheburashka' prototype of 1971, which used Fiat 127 doors and a 897cc engine (later 1100cc) driving the front wheels.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

The puzzle car is a 1972 E1101 prototype, while the one in a previous post in a 2E1101 from 1973 - the second prototype of 1101 car. In my opinion both cars are actually very good looking, although I like the 1972 version more. On the other hand 2E1101 has some obvious traits of the future Niva, doesn't it?  ;)
