I don't know. The only one I can name is John Dodds "Beast", but that had the engine in front of the driver.
The thing is, I'm sure I've seen this one before it got its body on it. It's the exact same configuration (2 seat quite far apart, with the engine behind) as one I saw many years ago in 'Motor' magazine.
But I can't seem to find anything about it anywhere, so don't lock it on my account.

Jameson Merlin built by Paul Jameson, Surrey, UK in the mid 1970s. I believe he built two cars.
Yes. It is the Jameson Merlin also called "Jameson Concorde". It was mentioned in the Guiness Book of Records as the most powerfull petrol engined car of its time.
It had a 12 Cyl. 27 Liter Rolls Roys Merlin engine and went from 0 km/h to 250 km/h in 9.3 seconds. with a max of 350 km/h
