There were some quite competitive entrants for the ugly car competition parked nearby when I took the photos!
Opinionated but sometimes wrong

Luckily, a picture was taken before it went boom. http://www.autopuzzles.com/forum/index.php?topic=7173.0
You wanna be the man, you gotta Name That Car!

Aaargh!
I hadn't bothered to search as I was sure we wouldn't have had it!
I think the saloon version revisits the "ugly car" claim quite unbeatably. ;D

This car had a certain success in Italy, and the British dealer sold only 2 of them under the Bambina name.
In 1923 they arrived 7th and 8th in the cyclecar category at the Pontedecimo-Giovi (driven by Attilio Vaghi and Nino Bianchi) and they were 1st 2nd and 3rd with Platé, Bianchi and Vaghi at the GP Cyclecar in Monza, were they beated the Anzani squadron. These cars (in my 3rd pic) were not modified for the race, except the missing parts(windscreen, cover, lights....) and with Bianchi the fastest lap was at 94 km/h, average speed!
