OK here is another light problem.

At least two cars shared this light unit one point for each... (and if someone finds more then extra points will be awarded!)

That's one of them (and a point for you) - although I had it as a cortina MK4 (being UK based) - now what about the other car that used it.

Open to anyone - and up to the pros. I thought this would have been solved by now...

I'll give you a clue but then it has another week and it is off to the black hole.

The second use for this light was on a british kit car. There is a version of this car still in production but it doesn't use the same lights anymore.

Not that I am aware - if you have proof let me know. But it isn't the car I am looking for.

Oh well off to the black hole with this one.... (should I be pleased or sad that I have beaten everyone on here?)

Not a Tiger - well certainly not any of them including my own... nor any other 7 types (that I am aware of)

Ah, just remembered that the TA Spirit, a British kit car of the 1980s used the Cortina IV rear lights!  Will send a photo as proof tomorrow.

You got it.....

I was beginning to think I had almost made an unsolvable puzzle

If you can attach a photo to the thread tomorrow that would be great as I am now away for a few days and haven't access to the original to scan until the end of the week.

Just thought of another car that used Ford Cortina IV rear lights; the SEM Siaga (below), a 1990s British kit car based around a TVR M bodyshell.
