It is a modified Ford Transit, but it does also have a very specific name.

Correct! This is probably the first serious atempt of building and electric vehicle in Lithuania. It is named JonElis* and is an electric conversion of Ford Transit Connect. Here you can see development of bodywork design: http://vcv.lt/Paslaugos/Jonelis.htm

I also attach a scan of a small brochure I took at the event:



*Jonelis is a diminute form of a name Jonas, which would be John in English, I suppose. The correct pronouncuation is Yon-el-is.
