Yes it´s from Portugal but that´s not the name I have...
-

If that is an Ace, it has to be the only one with those wheels which don't even look much like those on the AC saloon of the time.

Not a Citroën.. :-\
Yes! It´s the PE and right!..it´s a Envemo Monza!
-
Unfortunately the sources I found do not mention the base...i can try to list all the french chassis, but they will be just guesses... Simca? (looking at the wheels covers...)
-
That´s it! ;)
-
#3 is British ans starts with R
#5 is Italian
#10 I´ll give the AC´s point if someone solve both above
-
Can car # 5 be an early proposal for a Lancia Flavia successor (Beta)?
-
Think #5 is more likely an Alfa.
Proposal for new Giulia Saloon?
#3 looks like a Falcon Caribbean to me but that doesn't start with an 'R'...
-
You´re right Carnut! Car number #5 is an Alfa Romeo, but not a Giulia Saloon,............Early 60´s car and proposal..
And car number #3 - Not a Falcon Caribbean.Shares the name with one of the members of this forum, and then the last part of the name, remember starts with R ;) Not a Kit Car too.
Another picture:
-
Yes - have got the Alfa now.
It dates from 1962 and is by Alfa-Romeo's own Centro Stile studio.
Will have to dig further to find that Ford side-valve based special though!
-
Yes! it´s from 1962! I´ll give the point, now waiting for the other
BTW it´s a proposal for the 2600 Berlina!
-
Is there more info (and pics) available of this Alfa Romeo car. (can you PM me the link if it was found on the internet?)
Strange that it is a 1962 proposal for the 2600 because the production version of the 2600 was presented in 1962 as well.
-
Is #3 an Ashley Regent?
-
Not an Ashley Regent
-
Not an Ashley Regent
I would try AKS but there isn't anyone called that on the Forum.
There IS a Falcon but the only Falcon it could really be is an early Bermuda and that doesn't start with an R...
So I seem to be stumped!
-
Another clue :) :
There is a Lancia by Nardi with this partial name but in italian.....Now it´s easy! ;)
-
....Blue Ray?
-
....Blue Ray?
Yes!!! Ray is the first part of the name!
-
I did think of Ray but discounted it because there is nothing at all in any of my 'Complete Encyclopedias' that begins with Ray at all. So I have no chance whatsoever of getting this one.
And there doesn't seem to be anything on the Internet either, although I'm sure you'll know otherwise...
-
It´s an one-off! .....designed and built by the same person.
I only have one source for it. Famous site.

Was it designed and built by Raymond Flowers after he left the Frisky outfit in about 1958?
-
No... :-\ The car´s name starts with Ray
-
No... :-\ The car´s name starts with Ray
OK, believe he did build another car but it was just named after him..
But I may be wrong as I can't find a picture of it!
-
I think ...there aren´t connections between them
-
this car, which starts with Ray, could that be built by a guy, called Raymond?
-

A modern-day pic of #16
Arthur Bentas of Chelmsford, Massachusetts built a beautiful custom car during the 1950s, known as the Raven. It was built from scratch and the project actually began with a 1939 Dodge chassis and a 6-cylinder L-head engine. The windshield was also from a Dodge. The doors, hood and front fenders were courtesy of a 1954 Kaiser. A 1952 Chevrolet hood was modified to become the trunk and was given a Lasalle tire cover. The taillight rings were from a 1950 Pontiac while the taillight lenses came from a 1956 Desoto. The hardtop and dashboard were created by hand by Arthur out of fiberglass. The rear bumper came from a Kaiser and a dual exhaust system was snaked through the bumper.
