Bristol 406 is correct, but I have another name for the coachbuilder. Locked for you.

(I should mention that my source is far from infallible so feel free to prove me wrong)

woodinsight

More and hopefully correct information -
Bristol Teardrop Special built on a 1959 shortened Bristol 406 chassis.
Coachwork built by Coachbuilt Horsepower Ltd. for (I believe) a Mr. Waller.
It is a replica of a Talbot-Lago with Figoni & Falaschi bodywork.

barrett

That's the same info I have, the point is yours.

From the photos I've seen it looks very well done, certainly better than the word 'replica' implies, but I can't help but think I'd prefer a standard 406....

So would I - at least it would be authentic.
I'm not really a fan of flamboyant body styles spectacular as they may be.
I prefer something like a Maserati A6GCS Zagato for style.

Agree 100%.  Those flamboyant styes were really a blind alley and the much more subtle beautiful Italian shapes became the way forward.
