This looks like maybe a FMC .... motorhome manufacturer ..... this one looks to be modified as an executive limo version.

Vixen XC, made between 1986 and 1989 in Pontiac, Michigan.  This model has a 2.4 BMW turbo diesel in the rear.

I used to see these all the time. The factory was just a few miles from where I lived at the time. Toward the end of their short run, they used some Buick powerplants in place of the BMW units.

Lucky you! As far as I know, there are only two in the UK, one used to be very local to me, and some friends almost bought it as a touring van for thier band, but the guy was asking 5k for it, which was a bit rich.... Really lovely looking things though, although I can't imagine they are that much fun to drive

The web site I found showed three models, easily identified by their roofs, this low roof, one with higher roof and one with a lift up roof.  Each had different engines, but few were made in total.
