This looks like maybe a FMC .... motorhome manufacturer ..... this one looks to be modified as an executive limo version.

Is it an MSV (for Mauck Special Vehicles)?
It's as much fun to scare as to be scared

Vixen XC, made between 1986 and 1989 in Pontiac, Michigan.  This model has a 2.4 BMW turbo diesel in the rear.

It is indeed a BMW powered Vixen!

I used to see these all the time. The factory was just a few miles from where I lived at the time. Toward the end of their short run, they used some Buick powerplants in place of the BMW units.

Lucky you! As far as I know, there are only two in the UK, one used to be very local to me, and some friends almost bought it as a touring van for thier band, but the guy was asking 5k for it, which was a bit rich.... Really lovely looking things though, although I can't imagine they are that much fun to drive

The web site I found showed three models, easily identified by their roofs, this low roof, one with higher roof and one with a lift up roof.  Each had different engines, but few were made in total.
