I'm sure the song is 'London's a Lonely Town', a remake of The Trade Winds 'New York is a Lonely Town', the Dave Edmunds version has the lyrics "From Malibu to Picadilly's such a long way".

I'm thinking car #5 is a Chevrolet Malibu.

Actually, he did a remake with the "right" words, as well. But either one works.

#5 is no Chevy, but it doesn't matter.

All right. That shouldn't be impossible, although the "I've seen that face somewhere" method will not get me very far, I guess.

1- You say that the Chuck Berry song hasn't been found. Is the road shown in Song #3 in California, and could the tune be "California", from the 1979 album "Rock it"?
I don't believe he's matched with "You can't catch me" (Song #5 as suggested by Allemano) because the song (1956) is much older than the patrol car shown here.

2-  Is Artist # 6 british.
3- Is Artist # 8 american? If so is it Neil Diamond?

1 - none of those songs (and not a police car)

2 - Not British, but from a Commonwealth nation

3 - Not American, but mostly associated with American record labels and acts.

Australia?
And do we have to search for a band or an individual's name (If so I'd say the guy with the sun glasses)?

Not from Down Under. Yep, the guy with the sunglasses - looking unusually clean-shaved.  8)

famous Canadian with a usually different look?

Otto Puzzell

That's a pretty good summary. Often clean-shaven early-career; usually whiskered at the peak of his fame.

It's Gordon Lightfoot, but I still have to find a song, and Otto didn't make it easy for us: the title isn't enough, you have to go through the whole lyrics!

The Chuck Berry song -none of those songs (and not a police car) So this leaves us only with Songs 3 or 8. Can it be an Army car?

2 - Not British, but from a Commonwealth nation I found this one, now the song...

3 - Not American, but mostly associated with American record labels and acts. Also a Canadian?

The Chuck Berry song. I've read that Brown Eyed Handsome Man might be referring,in the last verse, to Jackie Robinson. Could it be him, in his Army days, in the Army car of Song #8?

In this instance, the title is all you need to find.

It is an army car, which does match the Chuck song in play. But it's not Brown Eyed Handsome Man

The other remaining artist is also Canadian-born, as you guessed.

With that, I think we're on the brink of some final breakthroughs!

Gordon Lightfoot and Carefree Highway - which is probably location No3

The car in picture no8 is a 1942 Chevrolet Fleetline staff car - if this helps anyone :)
Could it be that the song is Too much monkey business where Chuck Berry refers to an "Army car"?
