It has never been imported to Germany because its plastic body did not meet german fire prevention standards.

Indeed the ABS plastic was highly inflamable...
So it was a big surprise when I found a Méhari of a French fire department. It is now in the (very interesting) Citroën museum in Castellane, in the South of France.
