I live in Amsterdam, too, but  was born  in Limburg, went to school in Brabant, and my grandfather (who lived with our family when I was a child) came from Twente and only spoke his dialect. So for me it's not really impossible to understand these dialects 
I think it's a good idea that Autopuzzlers help eachother with translating foreign texts. Please feel free to ask...
