No19: Japanese?
No20: Swedish, probably Formula Vee?

faksta

There is one Japanese car, but not #19.

'S' stands for another country, not Sweden. Formula Vee is also one of them, but not #20.

woodinsight

#11 - Fitti Formula Vee?

faksta

Right country, right category, but another name.

pnegyesi

No11: Cross VĂ© (with apologies to woodinsight)

pnegyesi

Is No20 from South Africa?

faksta

#11 is Cross Ve indeed.

But sorry, the others are not right. 'S' is not Southern Africa, it's a European country. The Japanese car which is present here is from a racing car manufacturer known better than Bellco.

To summarize the hints: three cars left, two of them are from Europe (#7 and #19, countries starting with G and S), one from Japan, from a well known manufacturer of racing machinery.

Allemano

#20 is the 1971 "Panic". A formula junior racing car from Japan

faksta

Yes! From the people later known as Dome.

I think I even know which puzzle lead you to it :D

So, only two left, and not the most obscure among the whole bunch!

woodinsight

#7 - Germany (I've seen this illustration before - but where..........?)
#19 - Sweden?

faksta

No, sorry, neither Germany nor Sweden.

woodinsight

faksta

No, it is a smaller formula.

woodinsight

From a country starting with the letter S?

faksta

faksta

OK, the countries are in fact Great Britain and Spain.

woodinsight

That's what I thought after a lot of deliberation.
#7 - I'm still searching for
#19 - Is it a Selex?

faksta

Not a Selex (there was one already in this set), but it ran in the same category as some Selex cars.

Apologies but I'm not very good at recognising single seaters.
There are not many Spanish manufacturers so I'll continue with Hispakart?

faksta

Why apologize? Do I look angry?  :)

It is not Hispakart, though. The name is shorter.

woodinsight

Apologies for taking such a long time to complete this puzzle!
Let's try Etco
