I don't know what is it, but one thing is strange: it looks a bit rusty. Now, die-cast models are made in zamak, that has a different type of oxidation. Is it perhaps in cast-iron? That would be unusual for a scale model...

Otto Puzzell

This one's not metal, the reddish color shows where the paint is absent.

So, rubber?
And is actually the material the unusual thing of this model?

Otto Puzzell

No, not rubber. The material type is fairly common in the world of model and toy cars.

The unusual thing is not the material.

okay I repeat: witness of a historical event or of a catastrophe?

Otto Puzzell

I'm sorry - I thought you said ">>>deleted<<<" in your previous post.  ;D

Was this toy in an historical event / catastrophe? No, I don't think it was.

Otto Puzzell

No sir. It's the toy, and what it, on a smaller scale, mimics.

The path to the answer, if you concentrate on the photo, is clearly visible.

It has nothing to do with Wendy's hamburgers.

It's got pedals? (quite unusual in a model car this size). And if this is the point, it makes the car (a one-seater) an automatic.

That's not it, but a bit closer to correct!

24 hrs have gone. The 2 pedals are the same shape and size. Are they both brake pedals? Perhaps it's a weird driving school car?

Otto Puzzell

Not brake pedals (but they are the same size); not a driving school car.

24 lock is now yours

Are they Ford model T style gear change pedals?

I have no idea at the moment, so you can post again, Ray  ;)

Ray B.

Thanks, very fair.
A very thin idea is all I have: is it supposed to mimick a Jeep?

Paul Jaray

Is it working? I mean pedals and steering wheel.
