This is a bit obscure, so let's see what can you tell me about this car. An approximate year, a name and a country will be sufficient for a point.

pnegyesi

Not one guess.

Now, let's see whether our professionals can crack this

faksta

Circa 1947 maybe, Switzerland or not so far from it?

pnegyesi

cca 1947 and yes, it is from Europe. "Not far", well compared  to the Switzerland-China distance, it ain't that far, but it wasn't made in a German speaking country

faksta

I've been thinking about Belgium also, could it be right or at least closer?

75america

German is an official language in Belgium. ;)

pnegyesi

You are too much focused on the Western part of Europe

Yes, but not only German  :headache:

Hmm...if not Western Europe (and I suppose, not Hungary?), maybe..erm..closer to Romania? There is something quite interesting reflecting on a car's body, but I can't understand what exactly. The background is a mountain, as far as I can see?

pnegyesi

Not Romania (and it ain't no Hungary either), but much, much closer geographically

faksta

Former Yugoslavia? I'm only guessing now :)

pnegyesi

Yes, part of former Yugoslavia

faksta

So..in the year when the car was made the country was called Yugoslavia? Or should I specify the today's country name?

pnegyesi

It is up to you. You'll be better off though if you find out which part of the former Yugoslavia this automobile was made at.

Allemano

Related to "Balkan"?

pnegyesi

Balkan - was there such an automobile? Anyhow, it is home-built

pnegyesi

A clue: this wasn't built in Serbia.

pnegyesi

And not in Bosnia either...

pnegyesi

And not in Croatia. How many hints do you need :)?

vintman

Leaves Slovenia as Macedonia and Montenegro unlikely. A number of companies dabbled in cars:  I dealt with Novo Mesto when they made Austin 1300s. TAM Maribor made Lorries, Revoz made Renaults. Dont rememember seeing anything like the above !

pnegyesi

Yes, this one is from Slovenia :) Now, let's try to find who built this? Ain't no factory offering

pnegyesi

Slovenia, cca 1947 - now I only need a name of the builder to get this one solved
