Tell me what this is, and I'll reward you with a point  :)

The more you learn, the more you realise how little you know.

guido66

Sorry, it's not an Austin 7

My first thoughts on this were that it was a modified Erad Midget.
Other than that I don't know at the moment.

Few weeks ago, looking for info for a solved puzzle, I found this very car.
It was called simply 'Rolls Royce' and it was featured in a place dedicated to another French car, upon which it was built.
I decided not to save it because it was just a self-(poorly)-made car....but now I can't get it out of my head.
The donor car, was it French too?

I remember there are more pics of it, also a backview...I remember that I was looking for some XXX-based cars, but this was not an official one. Is it a 2CV based?

If I'm right it's quite an unusual donor-car...but there are different types of car like it (the donor car) but I remember I thought it was a waste to use it for this ...thing... am I far from the light?

Paul Jaray

Like a Bignan-based car?

guido66

It is a bit of a waste but not nearly as bad if it would be Bignan-based. I don't have a rear view of this car  ;)

DeAutogids

Somebody said it looked like a Austin7. And I read it is French. Is it a Rosengart?

It looks to me it may be based on an Amilcar CC of around 1922

guido66

It's nowhere near as old as that  ;)

Is is based on a 'voiture san permis?'  If it is, I will opt for a Bel Motors base.
A car is for life, not just for Christmas.

guido66

You've got the 'voiture san permis' part right  ;)
