A new month, a new set of puzzles.
-
it's up 2 the experts now..
-
let's take it one step further...
-
Extra picture...
-
From the Netherlands?
-
:) Yes!
-
This car has a very short name, and you'll break your tongue when you try to pronounce the makers first name, even if your Dutch...
-
This one is going to the black hole...
-
it's homebuilt...
-
Built near the track where it is shown?
-
BMW-engined maybe?
-
Built near the track where it is shown?
Not quite, a bit more to the east ;-)
-
BMW-engined maybe?
Not BMW-engined.
-
Built in Amsterdam?
-
Built in Amsterdam?
The designer/builder has a design agency. The car is shown on his site. It's still further to the east, though.
-
I thought I had seen all Dutch cars by now.
Michiel van den Brink? probably not otherwise it would be on his site and I haven't seen it. Maarten de Bruyn? not on his site either... difficult
-
From Eindhoven?
-
Bij 't Vuur ?
-
Bij 't Vuur ?
you're kidding right? That one was if of the early 20th century.
-
From Eindhoven?
Go to the northwest :)
-
From Eindhoven?
Go to the northwest :)
Arnhem (near an automotive school)?
-
Arnhem is to the north and slightly to the east ;)
But if you want to start from there it still is to the west and slightly north. But I doubt that finding the city will help much in solving this puzzle :)
-
Utrecht, or probably Driebergen considering the automotive school there
-
Sponsor of the circuit Zandvoort "Libertel" existed from 1995 to 2001 (when it became Libertel/Vodafone), so that narrows the year down
-
The car received it's RDW approval in 2002. The place is to the north of Utrecht
-
Almere?
-
Turn back, you drove too far! :D
-
Hilversum?
-
You've arrived at your destination
-
Stupidly I wanted to say Hilversum at the time, but I thought Hilversum was a bit far-fetched.
-
So this car is unique. It has a name consisting of four letters. It's designer lives in Hilversum and has an unpronouncable name. It was registered for the road in 2002. I assume it is still running? It was (presented?) at some time at Zandvoort circuit.
-
Less then four letters. It's only his first name that is difficult, except if you're Frisian ;)
The APK certificate is valid until september 2010.
-
Close, when it comes to Frisian.
Less then 4... I've been searching in the RDW registry for 4 letter car makes...
-
There is another word used in the RDW registration.....
-
There is another word used in the RDW registration.....
You do like making things easy... :D
Is the name in he RDW registration the donor car (which I just presume the designer used)
-
First name, like Agt?
-
No specific donor car is mentioned. I think he used parts from various cars.
The registration name has nothing to do with the guys name, but with a characteristic of the car
-
That could be anything from "home made" to "barchetta".
-
home made it is!
-
The only "home made" I found was from the fifties.
maybe my RDW-data is older then I thought.
-
try something else for "home"
-
presumably self made?
-
Now you should find it!
-
When you said "you arrived to your destination" in another puzzle, it reminded me of this one. I am surprised it is still not solved by one of our Dutch puzzlers. So let's see, maybe someone else will solve it, but hey, I try.
Is this design studio specializes in industrial products or architecture or?
-
Haven't found anything close, I'm affraid, but very interested in this one.
-
Most of his designs are furniture
-
The car is for sale, the owner/builder has placed some extra photo's on the web
-
Can you give me another clue :-[
-
Here's a screenshot of his 2nd design :)
-
It's also called "two" by the looks. Cool.
-
Does this studio has its own website? Is it mostly about furniture in Hilversum?
-
Yes, their is a website. With some furniture and the car too. but it's almost impossible to find.
The name of the car should be easy now, it's was almost staring you in the face a few posts ago...
-
The sale advert has been taken down, so I guess it has been sold. Since this car came before the other, it's name must be.....
-
"One"? ;)
-
Yes! :hyper: I'll give you a point if you find the name of the maker! ;D
-

Must have been something with the site where he put it up for sale, now I've found it again, still for sale!
Here's a picture of a clay model of number two, which hasn't been built (yet).
-
Is that furniture, mostly tables or cupboards?
-
On his website you can find 3 pieces of furniture, a pool attribute and his car
-

That does not sound like a booming business. Is this guy known for something else as well? besides this broad assortment of designs?
-
His website is pretty basic, indeed.
He is the only one that I know of that managed to get a one-off design approved by the Dutch RDW. It is officially registered under the make: Eigenbouw
I Just checked the RDW site and the car has changed hands on 11-11-2009, so it has found a new owner
-
But now you've given the answer yourself. Eigenbouw One. Under which guise I could find it to
-
Ah, but who built it?
-
This 'One'was built by Lykle Schepers from Hilversum, the Netherlands in 2003.
-
Thank you!!!! I spent long hours with this puzzle and finally it can be put to rest
-
:cheer: Well done :drink: You just solved my longest lasting puzzle here ;)

Finally! Well done. I for sure could not find his Paradym Design website
