I'm always a bit sceptical about the early dates ascribed to the US-built highwheelers and so far as I know Holley dates from 1904 so was not an active maker of vehicles in 1896.
Since it has a UK "age-related" registration I can see that the registered make is "1896 Holley" and the year of manufacture is stated as 1905.
Opinionated but sometimes wrong
