Is it a model as opposed to a full-sized veteran car?

It´s a real car! The sole survivor..
French?
1901 Renault?
Decauville ?
Not a Decauville
Panhard Levassor
Sole survivor of its make, or just its model?

I don't know, but probably this was the only model produced.
Did the make last less than 10 years?

Yes..only 3 years!
Ending before 1910?
And is that "three years" as in (for example) "1905-08" or as in "1905, 1906 & 1907"?

Yes,before 1910 and earlier than that
Right, but are you figuring the "three years" as "last year minus first year equals 3" or as "three different calendar years" (in which case last year minus first year equals only 2)?

1903 to 1905 ;)
Finding several makes that come close to having that date range, but so far none that have it exactly. Do different sources report this make's dates differently?
Anyway, my first guess: Manon?

Sorry ...I think that my source is wrong ... so here is the new info : 1898 - 1905
Those numbers and the size of the car: DeChamps or Vincke?
Found it: 1903 Wacheaux.
What tipped me off to this name is that I came across it in one source as "1898-1905" and another as "1903-1905."
Bump...
