Alright, slight variation.

Here's a couple cars that I've got images of but have no clue of what they actually are, have never been able to identify them.

First they're worth 1 point each, if it proves that noone else knows them I guess upgrade to 2 points.

DHoffmann

Anyone able to help me out on any of these?

DHoffmann

Is 2 points per correct answer a good enough incentive?

I believe that they were all at the same auto show - from '98 IIRC - which also had the Duopower Afghan and Vemac RD408H. I believe the first car to be a Honda.

That's about all the info I have on them...

The third one: Mobius

Do you have any further info? A quick search proves rather fruitless...

jotage21

I have only a picture of this car, from rear, with the plate indicating the name Mobius. How can I attach the picture to the reply?

@re

When replying, click "Additional Options..." right below the text field. The way from there should be self-explanatory :)

Well, I've got this one, and it proves that it has something to do with Honda... apart from that I've got nada.

Well, also recognized this backview today, but "Suzuki" on the plate left me clueless.

@re

Yeah, I know where you found it - and one of my best sources is no longer safe!

Note to self: No more Expert or Pro puzzles from those pages...  :-\

Sorry!
Know it for a long time, but was only interested in Italian mystery cars they've posted from time to time.
In the last few weeks I got more focused on the others, though.

@re

No worries - it's part of the game ;)

Maybe we can make a deal? We don't guess each other's cars that come from that web page, and we try to keep it safe from others... ;D

That's a great idea!  ;D
But: how will you guarantee that you haven't found it on another source?

Of course I would be as silent as a grave..  ::)

@re

You kind of gave yourself away on that other web site, if you know what I mean ;)

I was just kidding. I'll post puzzles from that site in the Rookie section from now on - if I remember where they came from, that is...

No, I don't know what you mean — and yes, I strongly believed that you just were kidding...
Maybe you send me a PM to explain!

I can say that the yellow ones are from the same show. I do not want to say any more for fear of further exposing one of your sources. I suspect I have stumbled onto it myself.

I'm beginning to suspect that the Honda was a one-off unofficial, either a 3rd party tuner or enthusiast, maybe local Honda dealership job. The 2nd one for some reason makes me think Daihatsu. No idea on the third!

I think we had this one before.., but where?

EDIT: here: Know the cars?

Allemano

Ah, I've found it... I think Boomerang is only a sponsor but, beyond that I'm still clueless  :-\

Found everything:
car _01 is the Garage Suzuki (Boomerang) Honda S800 'COOPE' (maybe a translation error, it could also means 'Coupe')

car_02 is called the Boomerang 'Meteor'

and the 'Garage Suzuki' Honda S800 'COOPE'
(obviousely this was made by Boomerang's former company named 'Garage Suzuki')

Arunas

Thanks, Allemano, for finally revealing this mystery!

Allemano

At your service. :)
BTW: wasn't it you who posted the car I was asking for in the "What is this car? thread?
